Week 11 & 12

I'm feeling better about this stuff when I decide just to spend the whole afternoon working on this AIT. That's my biggest problem is messing around with technology is soooo time consuming & I want to get other things done.

Today I reread & rewatched the wrap up week stuff and looked at RPL's myspace account, Jessica's blog and Mark's blog. That was cool. I bookmarked them all so I can easily go back. I'm kind of warming up to blogging, but again -- time consuming. I'll use Mark's blog when I need help finding something new to read, although my Librarything is getting pretty full of titles I want to read. I thing as I remember books I have read I'll add those for ideas for patrons on reader advisory.

I am downloading books on CD to my MP3 player & my cell phone. As soon as I feel really good about those I'm movin' on to trying Overdrive. Wish me luck!!

wikis

I like wikis, but I'm glad we didn't have to set one up somewhere. I'm getting really tired setting up accounts & then forgetting all about them when I did the next weeks AIT. Enough about my overloaded brain & short-term memory.
I tried searching Caledonia on wikipedia. although there wasn't an article about it there were links including Caledonia's own website. Nothing about the library, but I found they now have their municipal code online. I have tried to find it thru the years & never did. So I'm had opportunity to see their newer website & find where to find their codes.
